In my humble opinion, it was Jimi Hendrix with Slash, a close second. On this day in history, 18th September 1970, Jimi died in London, aged only 27, and the world lost a huge talent.

They don’t write them like they used to !!! Gene Vincent has joined the line-up. There’s some really great songs out there that have silly lyrics. What’s your favourite song that has daft lyrics?

This was such a great commission to create as I love both bands. I even got to see Soungarden once. They were one of the support acts for GnR at Wembley in 1992. Such a great band. I’ve never seen Black Sabbath, though. Anyway, this illustration flew to America.
