I have loved music all of my life and the musicians i have included in the picture are my own personal choice of significant influences.
It has taken me a couple of decades to get to know their catalogue of works, collect and listen to their music, and read up on them where possible. I have been lucky enough to see a few perform live. Their impact on music, culture, free thought and expression have been monumental, which is why I have chosen them.

So, a lifetime of being a fan, the original concept, followed by a couple of months of imaginings, sketching and rethinking. It’s taken a solid month to actually sketch out all of the portraits. It has been hand drawn by me initially using pencil and then using fine line pens, on A1 textured artist paper. Prints of the final painted version will be available as luxury fine art giclée prints or superior quality digital prints on textured card.
