Beautiful prints of my original pen and watercolour artwork inspired by Lewis Carroll’s Alice Through the Looking Glass. This illustration features many scenes and quotes from the book including The Jabberwocky and Tweedledum and Tweedledee.
Prints are available in a choice of sizes. All prints are signed on the back.
You could choose the full size A2 (16.5 x 25.4 inch) Giclee option – virtually identical to the original. To qualify for the title of a “fine art giclée print” it has to be made on archival quality coated paper, and printed with pigment based archival inks, which are UV stable.
The quality of the paper or canvas used in a giclee print is very important. Fine art paper mills have been producing mould made artist papers for over 435 years, have an extensive range of fine art papers used in giclee printing. The final result will be a superb giclee print.
We have selected the Enhanced Velvet, 255 gsm – Matt Textured. This is a professional fine art paper made at St Cuthberts Mill in Somerset. It has a velvety mid textured surface, using natural woollen felts and is 100% cotton. This archival grade paper exhibits high whiteness, without the use of optical brightening agents and is buffered with calcium carbonate to combat acid attack that finished prints may encounter from air pollution.
Giclee prints are rolled into a sturdy protective postal tube to be shipped.
Materials: High quality conqueror textured paper 300 gsm, Fine line pens, Cellophane protective envelope, Hardbacked heavy duty postal envelope
I have sketched, drawn and painted things for as long as i can remember. Its been the one continuous life long hobby for me.....and now its my day job.
Growing up on the outskirts of London i was lucky that i could jump on a train and get into the centre to visit all of the galleries and museums quite frequently. I spent many afternoons sketching sculptures and famous works of art.
Formal Art study ended for me after A levels (6th form) i didn't feel engaged for some reason. I had won the school art competition and i guess i must have felt like i had reached my zenith ! Other things then filled my life but i always loved everything that is art.
I love many different genres of music, literature, films, nature and of course Art in all of its forms. What i most admire is how much effort all of the people involved have expended trying to create something different. Some have given their whole lives at great personal expense in the pursuit for something new.
I am currently taking commissions but please bear in mind that if you request an item such as a print featuring a new design that it is the artwork you are paying for - please don't expect to pay the same price as a standard item. Designs can take several weeks of hard work to create and I charge accordingly. Please get in touch if you would like to discuss possibilities.
There is a gift wrapping option available at the checkout. I can also include gift notes free of charge, and send orders directly to your recipient.

I have been working hard to reduce my packaging and be as green as possible. I have removed bubble wrap and other plastics where possible (any bubble wrap I do use has been re-used from parcels I have received), using bio-degradable and recyclable alternatives such as tissue paper.
